A university in Michigan is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive campaign branding and identity services in support of its philanthropic campaign. The objective of this initiative is to inspire significant philanthropic engagement, elevate the university’s visibility, and foster unity among donors, alumni, faculty, staff, students, and community partners around a visionary future for the institution.
The selected vendor will be responsible for developing a campaign brand platform that communicates the campaign’s vision, values, and priorities. Key deliverables include the creation of a compelling campaign name and tagline, a distinctive visual identity system—encompassing a logo/wordmark, color palette, typography, and usage guidelines—and content templates suitable for a variety of audiences and communication channels. The branding must align with the university's primary brand while maintaining a unique presence for the campaign.
The scope also involves assessing peer and aspirational campaigns to identify best practices, reviewing existing brand assets and prior campaign materials, and developing campaign narratives, elevator pitches, and key messages tailored to diverse stakeholders. Additionally, the vendor will advise on rollout strategy, including internal communications, public announcements, and launch events. The contract period is for one year, with an optional pre-bid meeting scheduled and a specified deadline for questions.
