The selected vendor will design and deliver a comprehensive business retention and expansion study. This includes developing stakeholder engagement tools, conducting surveys and interviews, and compiling sector and workforce insights. The process will identify priority issues and opportunities for local business growth, culminating in a final report that offers clear, actionable recommendations to support municipal economic development strategies and policy decisions.

The vendor will also assist in addressing immediate business concerns, coordinate action planning, assess and report on program effectiveness, and manage the overall project design and planning. Additional responsibilities include conducting a series of practice business visits, managing data entry and analysis, reviewing completed surveys, and ensuring comprehensive access to data. Collection of targeted business contact information and printing of surveys and cover letters are also required.
