Ohio seeks a browser-based, web-hosted system for managing teacher absences and substitute assignments, integrated with HRIS/payroll and timekeeping systems.
(1) Vendor needs to provide browser–based and web–hosted absence and substitute management system to the government authority located in Ohio.– System must be browser–based and web–hosted. – System shall interface with the agency HRIS/payroll system and hourly timekeeping system (UKG). – System shall be tightly integrated with, and have the capability to import all necessary data for teachers and substitute teachers from the HRIS/payroll system and hourly timekeeping system (UKG) and system shall also have capabilities to upload absence/assignment information and earnings details (for both teachers and substitute teachers) back into the agency HRIS/payroll system and hourly timekeeping system (UKG). – System shall provide the option or be configurable for requirement of administrative approval for a teacher’s scheduled absence before a substitute teacher is scheduled. – System must provide the option of Administrator notification when an employee adds an absence and when a substitute teacher confirms acceptance of assignment. – System must allow administrators to set and create user, classroom assignment, and school preferences and parameters. – System must be able to differentiate between remote, personal development, and in–person learning teacher days. – Provides a comprehensive Teacher Absence and Substitute Teacher Management system that offers detailed reporting. – Provide comprehensive integrated substitute teacher management software that can meet the current and future information system needs and service requirements. – Provide teachers and administrators with a web–based teacher absence and substitute teacher management system. (2) All the questions must be submitted no later than December 23, 2025.
