(1) Vendor needs to provide bridge inspection services to the government authority located in Georgetown, SC. The Agency is requesting proposals from fully qualified and licensed engineering firms to provide a structural conditional assessment of a pedestrian timber bridge. Services include: one time inspection site visit; perform one (1) condition assessment of the bridge in general compliance with National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) and the SCDOT Bridge Inspection Guidance Document; inspect bridge from above deck and below deck. Inspecting firm is fully responsible for means and methods to observe below deck conditions. Prepare a report that provides a summary of significant findings, a description of the site's structure and existing conditions, detailed locations of observed deficiencies, an evaluation and structural assessment, and repair recommendations. The report will also include photographs of observed deficiencies. Submit a repair cost estimate based on observed deficiencies and findings.
