(1) Vendor needs to provide bridge bank stabilization project habitat mitigation and monitoring plan service to the government authority located in San Carlos, CA. • Preparing the site by topping an ash tree on the northern bank, installing steel plates atop the northern bank, and installing tree protection fencing on the Palo Alto side • Delivering boulders by truck and dropping the boulders into a chute from the northern bank staging area above top of bank (TOB) down to the creek bed • Accessing the site from the Palo Alto side to place the boulders on the northern bank using a front–end loader. • Installing vegetated boulder revetment to reduce streambank erosion and increase riparian cover over existing conditions • Removing concrete bags around the existing Menlo Park outfall and replacing with an energy dissipation rock pad within boulder revetment • Reconfiguring the outfall to prevent future erosion • Replacing a fallen tree into the creek to increase habitat complexity and provide refugia for fish. – The proposed Project design also includes bank stabilization measures to prevent erosion and reduce fine sediment inputs to the stream.
