This project seeks a qualified vendor to provide both branding and wayfinding plan services. The selected partner will develop a comprehensive visual brand identity that authentically reflects and engages the community's residents, businesses, and visitors. Tasks include facilitating stakeholder engagement sessions, community workshops, and surveys to gather diverse perspectives on the area's identity, values, and aspirations.
Building on extensive community feedback, the vendor will devise a brand strategy and messaging platform that resonates with target audiences. Deliverables include up to three distinct visual brand options—encompassing logo concepts, color palettes, typography, and imagery—designed for effective application across marketing materials, signage, and digital channels. A brand guidance manual will document the design process and establish clear implementation protocols to ensure brand consistency in all communications.
For the wayfinding component, the vendor will assess current town maps and signage to identify areas for improvement. The plan should incorporate a user-friendly wayfinding signage system—including directional markers, informational kiosks, and signs—that enhances navigation for both pedestrians and drivers while spotlighting key destinations and attractions. The wayfinding design elements will cohesively integrate the newly developed brand identity. Finally, a stakeholder review process will ensure that safety and community needs are addressed before the plan is finalized.
Best-fit vendors:
• Experience in municipal branding and wayfinding projects
• Expertise in community engagement and stakeholder facilitation
• Strong portfolio in visual identity development and signage design
• Familiarity with New Hampshire or similar communities
• Ability to produce comprehensive brand guidelines and implementation plans
