DESCRIPTION

Nassau BOCES and participating Cooperative members are soliciting bids to establish a price basis for immediate calls for service and blanket orders for the cleaning of boilers, ductwork, kitchen exhaust systems, and related HVAC installations. The contract term is for an initial period of one year, with the option to extend for two additional one-year periods by mutual agreement. Work includes inspection, cleaning, lubrication, and adjustment of equipment, as well as the provision of all necessary labor, tools, and materials.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Must have at least three years of continuous commercial service/maintenance experience in boiler, duct, kitchen exhaust, and HVAC cleaning
Must provide current Asbestos Awareness certificates for each employee performing work
Must provide current Confined Space and Confined Space entry training certificates for each employee
Must have a written OSHA-approved lockout/tagout plan
Must have a written OSHA-approved hazardous communications program
Must maintain required insurance coverage, including Commercial General Liability, Automobile Liability, Workers' Compensation, and Umbrella/Excess insurance
Must be registered with the New York State Department of Labor for Article 8 public work
Must provide proof of all monitoring equipment and lockout/tagouts
Must obtain all necessary County and local licensing for work in Nassau County
