The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) is hosting a Body-Worn Camera Solution Industry Day to engage with vendors specializing in body-worn camera technologies. The event will be held from March 2 to March 6, 2026, in Washington, DC, and is intended for market research, information gathering, and planning purposes related to body-worn camera usage in correctional settings.
FBOP invites industry partners to demonstrate their solutions and showcase capabilities that support accountability, transparency, investigative processes, and adherence to agency policy within correctional environments. The one-on-one vendor demonstration sessions will allow companies to present their current and future technologies, including interoperability solutions, digital evidence management, and compliance with security standards such as FedRAMP. Each session will be 60 minutes, comprising 45 minutes of presentation and 15 minutes of Q&A. Vendors may use electronic presentations and display device samples, noting that no internet is provided on site and materials should also be sent to the agency point of contact as a backup.
Participation is intended solely for information exchange and is not a solicitation for bids or proposals. Each company may bring up to three representatives, all of whom must be pre-registered and present government-issued photo ID for entry. The event prohibits gifts, giveaways, and the use of recording devices.
