The government authority in Wilmette, Illinois is seeking a vendor to provide construction and stewardship services for the Glenview & Big Tree/Heather site, converting it into native prairie habitat. The project includes the application of herbicide to remove unwanted vegetation, soil preparation, erosion control, and the supply and installation of native shrubs, prairie seed, and plugs.

The successful bidder will be responsible for meeting detailed performance criteria, including supplemental seeding, perennial planting, and/or shrub planting to ensure project benchmarks are achieved. Ongoing responsibilities include monthly site visits during the growing season (May 1 through September 30) and submission of annual monitoring reports. Further specifications are outlined in Attachment Three: Special Provisions.
