Minnesota seeks a vendor to develop or enhance a behavioral health program locator website for mental health and substance use services.
(1) Vendor needs to provide behavioural health program locator website development service. – Agency is seeking proposals from qualified Responders for the development and/or enhancement of an online, web–based behavioral health program locator. – Provide a comprehensive and easy–to–use website where patients, families, healthcare providers, and the public can search for mental health treatment, Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment, and related support services available in Minnesota. • The Program Locator must meet the following criteria: – User friendly and web–based, state–level, searchable online outpatient and residential mental health and substance abuse disorder treatment registry for all licensed providers, families, and the public in the Minnesota. – Fills identified gaps from the previous tool version, if applicable, and meets identified user needs. – Includes a comprehensive registry of providers and services available in Minnesota. – Provides user accessibility through open access, serves as a single point of entry for all users, and meets all digital accessibility standards. – Includes data or data improvements: comprehensive demographics, ability to identify racial and ethnic access disparities, proximity of services to users; ability to use data for continuous program locator improvement and capability for behavioral health providers to enter and update information. – Identifies specialized services: culturally responsive services, named modality services and developmentally identified services for children, families, and adults. • Tasks: – Contractor must ensure that partners are engaged in the development/updating of the Program Locator. – Assess current Program Locator for completeness or conduct an environmental scan to identify services and providers to develop a new tool. – Contractor must develop and improve data fields based on the previously identified gaps in provider and stakeholder needs to facilitate user access to these services. – Con
