Behavioral Health Third Party Administrator Services

The issuing agency seeks a vendor to provide behavioral health third-party administrator services, including simplified administration, service integration, and the integration and sharing of agency-specified data with multiple third-party administrators and the agency’s data warehouse. The selected vendor must provide a strategic account management team that proactively recommends solutions and maintains regular communication with the agency.

The vendor must designate an account executive responsible for overall account management and an implementation manager responsible for implementation success. The implementation manager will develop and manage an implementation plan to deliver the services in a timely and effective manner before the beginning of the plan year on July 1, 2027.

Responsibilities include processing and paying claims for covered behavioral health services provided by participating and non-participating providers, adjudicating claims submitted by or on behalf of members, issuing explanations of benefits and similar notices, and paying approved claims to behavioral health providers at least weekly. Questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted by November 6, 2026.
