DESCRIPTION

A New York-based agency is seeking a vendor to provide a complete Automated Vehicle Location and Monitoring (AVLM) system for its fleet operations. The requested solution includes all required hardware, software, installation, and ongoing maintenance for the system.

The AVLM system must be capable of collecting real-time data from both agency fleet vehicles and independent contractor vehicles simultaneously and at regular intervals. Required data elements include vehicle location, mileage, speed, idling status, and operator identification. The system must temporarily store data on onboard vehicle hardware and transfer that data wirelessly.

The selected solution must also integrate seamlessly, either directly or indirectly, with the agency’s existing database systems. The contract term is expected to be three years. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on August 11, 2026, and all questions must be submitted by August 13, 2026.
