The health system is seeking a vendor to provide and fully implement an Automated Pharmacy Dispensing System (ADS), encompassing installation, system integration, workflow configuration, testing, and staff training. The ADS is required to support high-volume centralized medication distribution across multiple facilities and must integrate with the Epic Willow Inventory (WINV) system for advanced inventory management.
The solution should feature robotic or mechanical automated storage and retrieval to increase accuracy and efficiency in medication handling, reduce manual processes, and provide high-density inventory storage and retrieval for large-scale inpatient replenishment. Additional requirements include automated dispensing of manufacturer-packaged medications, a scalable design to accommodate growth and additional facility integration, redundant or fail-safe operational components, and customizable workflows compatible with health distribution models and medication policies.
The contract will be for a one-year period. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for March 25, 2026, and all questions must be submitted by March 27, 2026.
Best-fit vendors:
• Experience implementing automated pharmacy dispensing solutions in large health systems
• Expertise with Epic Willow Inventory (WINV) integration
• Proven track record in high-volume, centralized medication distribution systems
• Ability to provide extensive training, support, and ongoing maintenance
• Scalable and innovative technology provider serving the healthcare sector
