The province of British Columbia is seeking a comprehensive automated patch management solution designed to remediate vulnerabilities identified by Tenable, especially those that are not addressed by current configuration management tools. The required solution must integrate seamlessly with Tenable through an API and be compatible with Microsoft Intune, while ideally also coexisting with Microsoft Configuration Manager and integrating with PatchMyPC. The system should minimize any negative impact on endpoint performance during patch management processes.
Key functionalities include reducing manual intervention, simplifying the management of patches, and supporting the development and configuration of system integrations and workflow automations. The solution should facilitate integration with platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, Okta, CyberArk, and directory services. Vendors will be responsible for conducting system, performance, and security testing; ensuring robust IT infrastructure and hosting capabilities; managing data migration and synchronization; and developing and approving access controls, role definitions, and workflow templates. Troubleshooting and resolving integration issues, as well as thorough user acceptance testing, are integral to the project's scope.
