The State of Arizona is seeking a qualified vendor to provide an automated meter reading and customer information system. The selected vendor will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing executables within the meter reading software module, specifically the multi-vendor reading system (MV-RS). This involves enabling the software to import and export automated meter reading data, managing daily route activities with handheld and mobile collection devices, and ensuring seamless software integration.

Additionally, the vendor will be tasked with developing custom system reports using third-party report writers such as Crystal Reports, providing management and technical support, troubleshooting, and executing database recovery procedures using pervasive SQL. The scope also includes creating billing inserts, supporting GIS data integration, and delivering customer information system services that require high-level customization with the .NET software system. Security is a priority, with tasks including the development and management of encrypted PDF energy bills and custom forms for billing, notifications, special agreements, work orders, and energy reporting.

The contract period for this engagement is one year.
