The government authority located in Springfield, Missouri is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive auditing services. The scope of work includes auditing the Annual Financial Report for the year ended June 30, 2025, and rendering an opinion on the fair presentation of both the agency's financial statements and the Fire Fighters’ Retirement System financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles for the year ending June 30, 2026.

The selected auditor will also be responsible for performing limited procedures involving required supplementary information. Completion of any required interim work for the financial and pension audit is expected during August 2026, depending on the final contract date. The contract period is set for one year. All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted by May 1, 2026.
