A government authority in Scotrun, Pennsylvania is seeking an auditing firm to provide comprehensive auditing and consulting services. The selected provider must be available for consultation with agency executive staff as needed, and at two specific points during the year: first, prior to audit preparation to establish the audit schedule, and second, to formally present completed audit reports to the board of directors.

The auditor may be required to participate in meetings or teleconferences with federal and/or state entities. The proposal should include consultation time in the proposed fee. The scope of the audits will encompass the entire operations of the Authority, with the contractor responsible for determining if the Authority's financial statements are fairly presented in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
