A government authority in Machias, Maine is seeking a vendor to provide audit services. The selected firm will be responsible for conducting audits of the financial statements and expressing an opinion on the fairness of the presentation of each entity's financial statements, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and auditing standards.
Audits for FY2023 and FY2024 must be completed by December 31, 2026, while the FY2025 audit is required to be finished by June 30, 2027. The contract will have a fixed price for each audit and includes a three-year term. Pre-audits have been scheduled for 2026 as part of this engagement.
Vendors must have the capacity to meet outlined deadlines and perform services in line with industry standards.
