The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSA) requires a secure, read-only archival solution for historical electronic health record (EHR) data from the legacy axiUm environment. The solution must preserve relationships between patient, clinical, financial, billing, insurance, and claims data, support reporting and compliance requirements, and enable the retirement of the legacy axiUm production environment. The contract term is three years with two one-year renewal options.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have at least five years of experience implementing healthcare data archival solutions
  • Must demonstrate successful completion of at least three healthcare data archive implementations within the past five years
  • Must have or obtain a TX-RAMP Level II Certification prior to contract execution
  • Must demonstrate capability to securely receive, host, and maintain a minimum database size of 2.2 terabytes
  • Must provide a completed Policy Driven Adoption for Accessibility (PDAA) maturity model
  • Must provide a completed Vendor Accessibility Development Services Information Request (VADSIR)
  • Must submit a VetHUB Subcontracting Plan
  • Must complete the Risk Assessment (Appendix Four)
