(1) Vendor needs to provide architecture and engineering services to the government authority located in Austin, TX.– Provide professional architectural and engineering services for the Project. – Services shall include but not be limited to Pre–Design, Design (Programming, Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents), Bidding, Construction Administration, and Closeout. – Attend and participate in all meetings with agency and all relevant state agencies, on–site meetings, coordination meetings with local utility providers, and with other local municipal departments as required. – Detailed on–site investigations, review of existing documents, verify and validate existing conditions. – Prepare a list of necessary surveys, testing and inspections to be provided to Owner including but not limited to: Commissioning, Testing and Balancing, Environmental, Geotechnical, Construction Materials testing, a full arborist review and recommendations, and assistance in coordination with the Texas Historical Commission for authorization to demo the existing building. – Preliminary budgeting and scheduling. – Full participation with Construction Manager–at–Risk to prepare order–of–magnitude cost estimates, at milestones to be determined at the start of the project. – Assistance in developing priorities for adjusting scope of work to match available funding.
