Architectural and engineering firms are invited to provide services for the renovation of approximately 3,500 square feet within Rich Hall, located in Oswego, NY. The project involves transforming the interior space to house the Center of Business Excellence and Transformation (CBET), with the goal of creating a dedicated, versatile environment that prepares students to be career-ready through hands-on business experiences. This initiative aligns with agency priorities related to workforce innovation, applied learning, and community transformation.

A significant component of the renovation is the development of a simulation lab—a dynamic, multidisciplinary space designed to foster mastery of business skills through high-impact, scenario-based learning. The simulation lab will be equipped with flexible, modular furniture and advanced audiovisual systems for live streaming, recording, and post-simulation analysis, supporting activities such as sales training, ethical scenario simulations, and leadership exercises. Additionally, the space will serve as the home for sales lab activities, agency and consulting work, career mentoring, and enhanced collaborative workspaces.

The selected firm will enter into a contract with a three-year term to complete the project in accordance with the outlined specifications and objectives.
