(1) Vendor needs to provide architectural and engineering services to the government authority located in Thousand Palms, CA.– Design professional shall complete the design within twenty–four months, understanding an added six to eight months will be allocated for plan check review and permitting with county of riverside and any other authorities having jurisdiction.– Perform initial site investigation and program research and review project history, collecting input provided by the agency's capital projects project manager. conduct kick–off meeting with staff.– Develop a scaled block diagram of all program elements, show adjacencies, on–site drive aisle access, and test–fit overlay on scaled site plan.– Perform geotechnical survey and survey investigation for building location on site.– Resolve existing campus adjacency concerns and provide design response to each.– Design Professional will provide construction administration from award of contract thru project closeout and as needed through warranty period.– Maintenance Building will replace an existing pre–engineered, metal clad, 7–bay, bus maintenance and repair shop with a 12–bay, concrete block or concrete tilt–up exterior with open concept metal framed interior maintenance facility.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than February 12, 2026.(3) A pre–bid meeting will be held on January 29, 2026.(4) The contract period will be for four years.
