DESCRIPTION
A government authority in Rhode Island is seeking an Application Managed Services (AMS) partner to deliver secure, efficient, scalable, flexible, and reliable application services across participating state agencies. The selected vendor will support a broad application environment and help ensure technology solutions remain sustainable from both technological and financial perspectives.
The scope includes low-code platform services such as application development, maintenance and support, strategy advisory services, and architecture and design services on demand. It also includes legacy application maintenance and support, including programming support for COBOL, Informix, and .NET, as well as IBM mainframe administrative support and Oracle database administrative support. The state currently operates Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics applications for internal approvals, public-facing license lookups, customer contact forms, and other smaller-scale uses, along with ServiceNow as its IT service management and asset management platform.
Additional responsibilities include testing and verification of application development across development, user acceptance testing, and production environments; problem resolution and corrective actions; configuration management; enhancements; maintenance; release management; and proactive monitoring with recommendations to maintain high availability and usage. Systems must be scalable, compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements, and designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data. The contract term is one year.
