Washington is seeking a vendor to deliver outreach and education services targeted at app-based and gig workers. The scope of work includes proactive outreach efforts to app-based workers, gig workers, broader communities, as well as immigrant and refugee populations. The selected vendor will be responsible for developing and disseminating culturally relevant and language-specific resources, including outreach materials and educational trainings focused on complex topics such as labor laws.
Additionally, the vendor is expected to provide intake counseling, referral services, and complaint resolution specifically tailored to the needs of app-based worker communities. Support services may also include case management related to job placement, housing assistance, and community advocacy on behalf of workers in need. The contract will have a duration of one year.
