The government authority in Carlsbad, New Mexico seeks a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive annual audit services. The selected firm will conduct the required annual external financial audit for the county and prepare the fiscal year–end financial statements for the period ending June 30, 2026.
Duties will include preparing financial statements and performing a financial and compliance audit of the county's general-purpose financial statements, as well as the combining, individual funds, and account group financial statements. The firm will also develop an audit report for presentation to the county commissioners, including any applicable findings, recommendations, and determinations regarding fiscal operations, in accordance with the State Auditor Rule for the current fiscal year.
The contract will be for a duration of one year.
