DESCRIPTION

The Cincinnati Job Corps Center, operated by Insights Training Group, LLC, is soliciting quotes for an in-person American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter to support one student. The interpreter will provide classroom interpretation, hands-on shop and lab interpreting, technical vocabulary transliteration, workplace safety and hazard alerts, and support for off-center work-based learning, field trips, and extracurricular activities. The contract term is estimated to run until the student's successful completion of the program or May 31, 2027, whichever comes first.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Must have high sign language fluency and specialized knowledge of deaf culture
Must possess a passing Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) score or state/national certification (RID/NAD)
Must not be excluded from competing on government contracts (SAM portal verification)
Must provide evidence of licenses and certifications to perform the scope of work
Must provide a listing of valid and current credentials for all staff assigned to perform the work
Must have no less than five consecutive years of relevant experience
Must provide a list of similar projects completed within the last five years and references
Must provide a certificate of insurance naming Insights Training Group, LLC – Cincinnati Job Corps Center as an additional insured
Must provide a completed New Vendor Profile & W-9 Form
Must maintain a minimum 60-day bid guarantee
