DESCRIPTION


The government authority located in Jackson, Mississippi seeks a vendor to provide nondiscretionary investment consulting services focused on alternative asset classes, particularly private market investment opportunities. The consultant will deliver high-quality, objective research, comprehensive market analysis, manager and strategy evaluation, performance attribution and benchmarking, risk analysis, as well as clear and timely written and oral reports.

Responsibilities include assisting the authority in developing policies, procedures, and guidelines for various alternative investment programs, supporting strategic planning and portfolio construction, conducting manager research, selection, monitoring, and termination processes, and providing educational and research materials for trustees and staff. The consultant will utilize portfolio management technology and software and provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the Board and staff, including asset-level benchmarking and fee analysis throughout investment manager relationships.

The contract is set for a five-year period, and questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by April 15, 2026.
