A government authority in Birmingham, Alabama is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive airport property maintenance services. The selected contractor will be responsible for regularly maintaining agency-owned properties to ensure that grass is cut and litter is picked up consistently.
Services will include weekly maintenance of groundcover areas, mowing, and edging, as well as the removal of litter and debris from turf, fence lines, and street curbs every three days. Additional duties comprise pruning of trees and shrubs, application of chemical agents to control weeds, and the use of power blowers to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of lawn areas. The vendor will be expected to sustain the health and aesthetic of all existing landscape elements, including plants, trees, shrubs, ground covers, and lawns.
