The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Procurement Headquarters intends to issue an Enterprise Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) to define broad Areas of Interest and establish the framework for competitive Spirals releases. These releases are designed to solicit innovative technologies and services that support the full spectrum of AFRL requirements. The CSO is structured to seek solutions that are considered 'innovative', including any new technology, process, method, or novel application of existing ones as of the proposal submission date.
Resultant awards from this CSO will utilize fixed–price contracts under FAR Part 12 or Other Transactions for Prototype. Industry feedback is encouraged on the draft CSO via the supplied Comment Resolution Matrix, and responses will be used to refine the final CSO document. While this notice is not a solicitation for proposals, it offers stakeholders the opportunity to influence AFRL's future procurement approach for innovative solutions.
