NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 Simplified Acquisition Procedures as implemented in FAR 13.106–3(b)(3)(i). The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 07, located at 109 Bee Street, Charleston, SC ,29401 is issuing this Notice of Intent (NOI) to inform industry contractors of the Government s intent to execute a Sole Source IAW Far Part 6.103–1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. AGFA Web–Based Solution for Electronic Scheduling and Protocoling, which is PIV card enabled. After thorough market research and evaluation, it has been determined that AGFA is the only vendor capable of providing the required solution with the necessary integration, functionality, and managed services support. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 811210, Electronic and Precision Equipment and Maintenance. The Product Code (PSC) is J065, Maintenance/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment– Medical, Dental, And Veterinary Equipment and Supplies.
