An agency in Ontario is seeking a qualified vendor to lead the development of an Age Friendly Community Strategy for the period 2027–2031. The selected vendor will be responsible for crafting a comprehensive strategy that draws on community input and research, with an emphasis on strengthening cross-sector collaboration and fostering stakeholder ownership of the Age Friendly agenda.

The scope of work includes a thorough review and synthesis of all existing Age Friendly materials to identify key themes, gaps, and opportunities. The vendor will design and facilitate an inclusive stakeholder engagement process that reflects the agency’s Age Friendly domains, ensuring emphasis on inclusion, accessibility, and lived experience.

Additionally, the vendor will develop an implementation and evaluation framework to support progress tracking, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the four-year period. This framework is intended to ensure the successful realization and ongoing refinement of the strategic objectives.
