A New Mexico agency is seeking a vendor to provide an advanced Power BI platform along with consulting services focused on health data visualization and crisis management. The selected vendor will be responsible for deploying Microsoft Power BI Premium to integrate and visualize complex datasets from multiple sources, offering comprehensive data transformation, modeling, and visualization services. Business intelligence consulting, including the development and implementation of advanced data models and visualizations, will enhance organizational decision-making and data-driven insight generation.

The scope includes delivering advanced mapping capabilities using Power BI’s spatial functions for disease outbreak tracking, vaccination campaign oversight, and high-risk area identification with demographic overlays. Vendors must ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place for protected health information (PHI) within the Power BI environment and implement RESTful API integrations for real-time data ingestion from health information systems and enterprise applications.

Crisis management capabilities are required, such as aggregating multiple data streams during public health emergencies and developing dashboards with automated alert systems. Real-time, interactive dashboards must support automated data refresh intervals of no more than 15 minutes for essential health surveillance metrics and facility operations. Additional responsibilities include managing Power BI workspaces, configuring security, and administering user access. The anticipated contract period is one year.
