(1) Vendor needs to provide advanced metering infrastructure system.– Provide advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) deployment solution, including provision of an AMI data collection network with District–wide coverage, supply of AMI compatible water meters and registers, the supply of AMI radio transmitters for all accounts, and provision of a fully functional AMI meter data collection software, analysis and meter data management solution.– AMI system, including all components and functionality, need to be integrated with the SAP billing system and the field work order system.– Software is required to manage the database of meter readings and other information created by the AMI system.– System integration includes four critical sub–tasks that establish milestones at the design, programming, acceptance and testing phases.– Data exchange and database synchronization between Proposer’s head–end AMI system management software and other Vendors’ meter data management systems.– Data exchange and database synchronization between Proposer’s meter data management system and other Vendors’ customer portals.– Indicate whether the software has the ability to accept a manual reading and/or notes in the account record.– This software may be distinct from the head end software used to manage the AMI system.– Provide a development environment on which to test and configure system software changes.– Meter Exchange Protocol, MultiSpeak or other formats for data exchange and communication.– Mobile data collection software(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than January 8, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for two years. (4) A non–mandatory pre–proposal conference will be held on December 18, 2025.
