South Carolina seeks a tool to identify and remediate accessibility issues across digital properties, ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 standards.
(1) Vendor needs to provide accessibility compliance tool.– Procure an accessibility compliance tool that will enable agency to effectively identify, categorize, and remediate accessibility issues across all digital properties and content.– Solution must not introduce significant latency or negatively impact website or LMS performance.– Provide tools to assess and diagnose compliance issues of institutional websites that are managed outside of the primary college website or by third parties, such as the MySCC portal (SharePoint), application and course registration systems, library resources (LibGuides and associated databases), payment systems, textbook ordering systems, syllabus repository (WordPress), and online forms.– The selected tool must fully align with WCAG 2.1 and WCAG 2.2 standards, with the flexibility to incorporate future compliance requirements, ensuring comprehensive coverage that supports legal mandates, institutional policies, and best practices in inclusive design.– Provide online content to individuals with disabilities in an accessible manner, whether they are students, employees, or members of the public.– Fully tests against WCAG 2.1 and 2.2, including conformance levels A, AA, and AAA (as applicable). – Support for the new success criteria related to focus visibility, mobile accessibility, consistent help, redundant entry, and target size.– Accurately scans and evaluates web content, applications, and digital assets for accessibility compliance.(2) A non–mandatory pre–bid meeting will be held on November 5, 2025.(3) The contract period will be for one year. (4) All the questions must be submitted no later than November 5, 2025.
