The designated contracting agency intends to issue a solicitation for construction services. This is a 100% small business set–aside procurement. The proposed contract is to provide a means of executing construction efforts in support of the DTRA mission by providing construction for: 1) general test support; 2) new construction; 3) Repair and maintenance of test structures and articles; and 4) demolition and remediation on various test sites. The proposed contract is for construction services and will include, but is not limited to, the following FAR clauses: 52.246–4 (Inspection of Services – Fixed Price), 52.246–12 (Inspection of Construction), and 52.246–13 (Inspection–Dismantling, Demolition, or Removal of Improvements). Each task order will be reviewed to determine the appropriate contract type, which may include Firm–Fixed–Price (FFP), Time and Materials (T and M), or Firm–Fixed–Price Level of Effort (FFP LOE).
