All interested parties are highly encouraged to respond.Reponses to this Sources Sought Notice will be used by the Government to inform its acquisition strategy and make business decisions regarding a potential future solicitation.NAICS: 541370, Surveying and Mapping (except Geophysical) ServicesSize Standard: $19 millionAnticipated Advertisement Date: April 2026Project Background: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District has a need for professional architect–engineering (A–E) services to provide hydrographic mapping and surveying. This contract is being procured in accordance with the Brooks A–E Act as implemented in FAR Subpart 36.6. Firms will be selected for negotiation based on demonstrated competence and qualifications for the required workProject Scope: The projected scope of this requirement primarily includes hydrographic mapping, geodetic control, and other surveying or mapping services under the direct and supervision of a Certified Hydrographer or Hydrographic Surveyor such as:Single transducer Hydrographic Surveys utilizing high and low frequency depth recordersAll modes of GPS which shall include VRS network, static and RTK proceduresMulti–Beam SurveysSide scan sonar surveysSub–bottom profilingSub–bottom probing and surficial sampling, testing and analysisMagnetometer surveysEnvironmental monitoring and wetlands restoration investigations and studiesWreck, underwater obstruction, and underwater structure/facility investigations and inspectionsInvestigations using ROV`s for tidal or inland watersHigh resolution imaging sonar surveysJetty/groin surveysTopo surveys to augment hydro surveys
