DESCRIPTION

The City of Evanston is seeking proposals for independent contractors to provide plan review and inspection services, including structural, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and fire inspections, as well as fire and zoning plan reviews and code enforcement services. The term of the agreement is from the date of award until December 31, 2030, with the option for two additional one-year renewal periods.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have at least 5, but no more than 10, similar contracts performed within the past five years
  • Must provide references for each identified project
  • Must provide a list of all municipal clients in Illinois
  • Must identify professional staff assigned as Area/Regional Manager(s) and provide resumes
  • Must carry comprehensive general liability insurance of $3,000,000
  • Must carry automobile liability insurance of $1,000,000
  • Must carry errors and omissions or professional liability insurance of $1,000,000
  • Must carry workers' compensation insurance at statutory limits
  • Must meet a 25% M/W/D/EBE participation goal or request a waiver
  • Must submit a Disclosure of Ownership Interest Statement Form
