The New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets is providing funding for advertising, promotion, and education activities to increase participation in and promotion of county and local fairs in New York State. Eligible projects will improve public knowledge of agriculture and domestic arts, expand efforts to attract visitors, and create brand recognition for fairs. The program is open to agricultural and horticultural corporations and county extension service associations that sponsor an annual fair or exposition and receive premium reimbursements under Article 24 of the New York State Agriculture and Markets Law. The contract term is from January 1, 2027, to October 1, 2027.
