Website Redesign Service Using CMS

A district is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive website redesign services utilizing a content management system (CMS). The selected vendor will be responsible for developing and deploying the new website on a secure, reliable hosting platform, and creating a migration plan to transition content from the current site—including templates—to the upgraded platform. The redesigned website must feature a fully responsive design for optimal performance across desktops, tablets, and smartphones, and offer an intuitive, web-based interface for easy content management by non-technical users.

Key requirements include providing comprehensive training for district and school staff on CMS usage and content management, and offering ongoing technical support, maintenance, and security updates. The website must support granular user roles and permissions, an intuitive navigation structure, staff directory integration informed by Google Workspace or Active Directory with override capabilities, and news and announcements sections equipped with social media sharing features. Additional features include easy-to-manage calendars with iCal options, emergency alert banners or pop-ups, online forms and surveys, and seamless integration with Google Workspace services such as documents and single sign-on (SSO). Secure, cloud-based hosting with a minimum 99.9% uptime is required, along with analytics and reporting tools for evaluating website usage and engagement.
