The selected proposer will be responsible for building a new website, overseeing its launch, and providing subsequent maintenance, including ensuring ongoing functionality and usability.

Key project components include recommending an appropriate content management system (CMS) to support the new website, with openness to both open source and proprietary platforms. The current website uses WordPress, and the agency will consider continuing with this platform if appropriate. The scope also covers thorough usability testing, customization and workflow development, as well as rigorous testing across multiple platforms and browsers. Compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines is required.

The selected vendor will also advise on analytics and SEO best practices, incorporate multimedia elements, and provide post-launch support and training. Website hosting is managed through a cloud-based provider, and the proposer will not be responsible for procuring or managing hosting services.
