A vendor is sought to provide comprehensive website design, implementation, deployment, and optimization services focused on improving the front-end user experience, discoverability, and functionality for a recreation program's discovery and registration environment. Services will include a thorough assessment, strategic design and implementation, and post-launch support to enhance navigation, accessibility, analytics, and integration of public websites and third-party registration systems.

The scope involves diagnosing and remediating limitations in the current website’s front-end, with plans for enhancements to both the website and registration software. Key objectives include improving discoverability, customer experience, navigation ease, staff efficiency, long-term sustainability, and marketing capabilities. Requirements also include systems for eDiscovery searches, legal content hold, retention tag creation, and archiving schedules.

The project calls for assessment of extensibility and integration options, including configuration, theming, APIs, and compatibility with the civic plus city website platform. Baseline performance reviews and analysis across devices and browsers will be performed, alongside identification of SEO, AEO, GEO, accessibility, security, maintenance, and analytics considerations. Additional needs include filter optimization for recreation programs, development of team sideline pages, and creation of a content governance model outlining responsibilities and scheduling within staff capacity.
