Summary:

Georgia seeks a vendor to provide a web-based Truck Parking Availability System (TPAS) with real-time data, GIS mapping, secure APIs, and SSO integration.

(1) Vendor needs to provide web–based truck parking availability system.• Design, procure, install, integrate, test, commission, and maintain a complete turn–key TPAS (Truck Parking Availability System) at identified locations throughout the State.• Provide a TPAS software platform capable of managing parking availability, storing usage data, and supporting all system operations• Provide real–time truck parking availability information to commercial vehicle operators through multiple communication channels, including roadside signs, the 511 Advanced Traveler Information System, other state approved third–party applications.• The System shall be web–based and accessible through a standard web browser (e.g., Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge).• The System shall provide the ability to display, query, sort, and filter TPAS assets and TPAS sites statewide in a list.• The System shall display TPAS sites, associated devices (e.g., detection units, signs), and attributes on a GIS–based map.• The System shall represent each device type (e.g., detection unit, signs) with a unique icon/symbol.• The System map shall use GIS data sources (e.g., shapefiles, geodatabases) to render geographically accurate maps.• The System shall allow users to configure GIS layers (e.g., site boundaries, parking lots) and display layers from third–party GIS systems (e.g., Esri ArcGIS).• The System shall allow reports to be exported in CSV, PDF, TXT, and KML/KMZ formats.• The System shall allow users to filter what data is displayed on reports.• The System shall expose secure APIs for integration with state TPAS, and approved third–party applications.• The System APIs shall support robust authentication (API keys, OAuth tokens, or equivalent).• The System shall utilize a Single Sign–On (SSO) methodology so users can access all system components without being required to re–authenticate (currently uses Microsoft Entra ID).
