Kansas seeks a vendor to provide a comprehensive web-based transportation system with integration, mobile ticketing, scheduling, and support for government transit operations.
(1) Vendor needs to provide web–based transportation system to the government authority located in Kansas.– System will integrate with other city applications and interface with our third–party providers through standard techniques.– System will be based on current technology and proposer will have a well–defined enhancement strategy.– Provide a comprehensive, fully integrated hardware and software for a transportation system specifically designed for government agencies, including delivery, installation, integration, customization, data conversion, training, documentation, and support and maintenance.– reporting on separate databases.– Provide the primary mobile app for mobile ticketing, preferably a solution that can integrate into a single rider application for fare, schedule, and bus location.– API and web service interfaces between external systems.– Ability to view different screens on dual monitors.– Integration with existing systems (e.g., ERP, SSO, payment gateways).– Transit planning and scheduling tools general software.– Module includes map–based stops, route alignments, and stop–based demographic data.– Ability to auto–manage multiple versions of data.– System should be able to accommodate fixed route, on–demand, and headway scheduling.– VoIP communication system to take over standard radio communications in the event of radio communications going down.– Ability for drivers to create detailed trouble and issue reports for maintenance and dispatch to review and address.– Ability to manually log drivers on and off to a vehicle.– Tracking of vehicle speed, direction, assigned route and relevant statistical data and logging.– Ability to set custom email and text notification based on vehicle collected data such as multiple driver late over thresholds, check engine light on vehicle, etc.– Riders should be able to purchase multiple mobile tickets, discounted mobile tickets, and integrate with different pass programs.
