Seeking a vendor for a web-based automated software testing tool with capabilities for lab testing, data-driven tests, API integration, and multi-browser support.
(1) Vendor needs to provide web–based automated software testing tool. • Software tool that automates portions of the software testing process by performing various testing functions such as optical character recognition (OCR) and image recognition to interact with the software being tested and identify any errors or defects. • Ability to automate the process for performing lab testing of train control software including Wabtec I–ETMS onboard software, Back Office Server software, computer–aided dispatching (CAD) system, Mobile Device Management software and other train control software applications. • Ability to handle data–driven tests by reading test data from external sources like CSV, Excel, databases, or APIs to simulate real–world scenarios for Salesforce and SAP (web–based) systems. • Support for querying Oracle databases to verify data accuracy and ensure proper data flow in Salesforce or SAP (web–based) applications. Integration with SQL queries can help validate back–end data. • Ability to interact with SOAP or REST APIs that Salesforce or SAP tools expose for third–party integrations. • Ability to verify data inputs and outputs from various systems (Salesforce, databases, third–party services). • Validate Business Objects reports, dashboards, and visualizations. Interact with web–based SAP tools and ensure data accuracy, rendering, and performance. • Support testing ERP modules (e.g., Oracle ERP Cloud) integrated with Salesforce and SAP systems, verifying business logic, data flows, and workflows. • Support for testing websites across multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) to ensure consistent user experience. • Ability to interact with various web elements like buttons, dropdowns, forms, tables, and dynamic content (AJAX, JavaScript).
