DESCRIPTION

The client seeks a vendor to provide a comprehensive web-based asset data collection solution. The selected firm will be responsible for developing an inventory and associated geodatabase that encompasses all traffic safety and control devices, including those for pedestrian and bicycle facilities. The solution must feature a user-friendly web interface allowing personnel to view and interact with all collected data, which will be updated weekly with new, post-processed information.

Key requirements include browser-based access to collected data without the need for additional local software installation, depiction of each asset on a separate GIS map layer, and the ability to select or deselect all attributes with a single click. The platform should enable customization and printing of reports or images, toggling individual or all asset layers, color coding of each asset, and linking of location data to Google Maps or Google Earth. The system must also accommodate updates to the asset inventory and allow new assets to be added in the future, as well as provide access to historical asset data. The anticipated contract period is five years.
