The broker will handle consolidated monthly billing processes, plan recaps, and ensure payroll departments can efficiently submit payments. Responsibilities also include offering qualified plan counselors, conducting preliminary planning and management meetings, supporting group and one-on-one enrollment, and producing annual surveys to assess product qualification and carrier ratings. The provider must ensure that all plans remain compliant, make recommendations before enrollment periods, and facilitate continued coverage through the current plan year ending December 31, 2026. The third-party administrator must be licensed and able to manage COBRA benefits, dependent care, and specific products such as MetLife group cancer coverage.
