DESCRIPTION

Kennesaw State University, on behalf of the Kennesaw State University Foundation, is soliciting design-build services for the renovation and adaptive reuse of existing space within University Village to develop a new campus dining facility serving the north residential campus. The project involves approximately 12,500 square feet, with 10,500 square feet anticipated for programmable dining and support functions. The selected Design-Builder will provide all professional design, engineering, preconstruction, and construction services, including coordination with university stakeholders, to deliver a fully operational facility by Fall 2028.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Must not be currently ineligible, debarred, suspended, or excluded from bidding or contracting
Must have sufficient bonding capacity for the anticipated total cost of work
Must have a current Contractor’s Public Liability Insurance policy
Must have all necessary, valid, and current licenses to do business in the State of Georgia
Must demonstrate sufficient cash flow with a current ratio of 1.0 or higher
Must have an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) over the past three years of 1.2 or less
Must not have been terminated for cause or currently in default on any public works contract
Must attend the mandatory pre-proposal site visit as a finalist
