DESCRIPTION

Chugach Electric Association, Inc. is soliciting proposals for vegetation management services across three lots: (A) Line Clearance, Distribution and Transmission; (B) Substation, Helipad and Telecom Vegetation Control; and (C) Engineering Projects Vegetation Management. Services include right-of-way clearing, tree trimming, danger tree removal, mulching, grubbing, weed cutting, herbicide application, and emergency on-call response. The contract has an initial term of three years, beginning February 1, 2027, with options to renew for up to two additional one-year terms.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Must be a signatory contractor for the Chugach Outside Plant Bargaining Unit Agreement before performing work
Must attend a mandatory site visit if not having performed vegetation management services for Chugach within the last five years (excluding Lot C only proposers)
Lump-sum proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for 10% of the total lump-sum price
Performance bond required for all lump-sum work awarded
Must review Sample Contract and submit proposed changes using Microsoft Word's Track Changes tool
