This Sources Sought Notice is being issued for market research purposes to determine the availability, capability, and interest of small business firms for a potential Government requirement. Responses will be used to determine potential acquisition strategies, understand current market capabilities, and to gain knowledge of potential sources.GENERAL SCOPE:The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Sacramento District (SPK) anticipates a potential requirement to modify the exterior fire sprinkler systems on Warehouse 28 at DDJC Tracy, located in Tracy, California.The existing exterior fire sprinkler systems are wet systems subject to freezing in cold weather. The installation currently shuts off the systems and drains the water during winter months. The scope of this requirement includes the conversion of the existing fire sprinkler system from a water–based system to one that will not freeze in cold weather.The potential requirement may result in firm–fixed–price solicitation issued approximately March 2026. If solicited, the Government intends to award the anticipated requirement within 120 days of solicitation.The Government estimates that construction of the potential requirement can be completed within 365 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed.
