DESCRIPTION

Arlington Public Schools requires professional translation services, including editing, proofreading, and quality assurance, as well as in-person and virtual American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting services. The contract is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) labor-hour contract with an initial term of one year and four additional one-year renewal options.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Must be legally authorized to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Virginia
Minimum of three years of experience providing professional translation services for educational institutions, public agencies, or similar organizations
Minimum of three years of experience providing American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting services for educational institutions, public agencies, or similar organizations
Personnel must have at least two years of experience providing interpretation services
Personnel must possess required certifications such as RID, NAD, EIPA 4-5, or CLT
Must maintain quality assurance procedures for translation review and verification
Must demonstrate ability to provide secure transmission and storage of documents
Must maintain adequate staffing and resources to perform services both online and in-person
